The source code of some of my distributions

You will find here in this page links to some of the source code that I used to create my different distributions.

I advised you to decompress the archive on a PC first with a utility such as Winrar or 7zip (version 4.27 or above). Then you will have a tar archive that you can upload (with FTP and in binary mode) to /QOpenSys directory on your iSeries. That will create a directory of distro-x.x type.

Now you must go inside this directory which will appear when you will have untar the archive (e.g. : distro-1.2). Then, you just have to use the following instruction :

sh ./compil_script.

The script will create everything for you in the /QOpenSys/usr/local directory. However, be careful this script take about 72 hours to complete. if you have a machine which is not very powerful like mine.
